Jesus loves you!

Zwei kleine Vögel sitzen in einer Regenpfütze. Da kann man so herrlich rumplantschen!

Two little birds are sitting in a rain puddle. One can splash there – so delightfully!

„Wie heißt du? “, fragte der blaue Vogel die süße kleine Vogelfrau.
„Ich heiße Gelina!“

„What’s your name?”, the blue bird asked the sweet little lady bird.
„My name is Gelina!”

„Und ich heiße Evan!“

„And I’m called Evan!”

„Dann sind wir gemeinsam
EVANGELINA!“

„Then, together we are
EVANGELINA!”

„Wollen wir zusammen fliegen?“
„Shall we fly together?”

Und weg sind sie.
And off they go.

In einem Baum geht die Unterhaltung weiter.
In a tree the conversation continues.

Ob es für die nächste Zeit genug Regenwürmer gibt.
Eben so Vogelsachen.

Is there a sufficient supply of rain worms around?
Simple bird matters.

Gelina sagt: „Eigentlich müssen wir uns keine Sorgen machen!“

Gelina says: „After all, we need not to worry!”

Evan sagt: „Na, du bist lustig!“
Evan says: „Well, aren’t you the funny one?!”

Sie müssen ganz doll lachen, dabei fallen sie vom Baum.
They have to laugh so hard that they fall out of the tree.

Unten müssen sie schon wieder lachen!
Down below they have to laugh again!

Evan says: „And furthermore God takes care of everything! In the Bible I once stumbled across a verse, where it reads that even the lilies of the field don’t have to worry because they are much more beautifully clothed than even the emperor in his robe!”

Gelina seufzt: „Ja, das mag stimmen, aber wenn man Tag und Nacht für die Vogelbabys fliegen muss, sieht die Sache schon anders aus!“

Gelina sighs: „Yes, that may be true, but when one has to take care of the baby birds, flying day in and day out, it’s a different story!”
